ash-stdlib

The optional standard library for Ash, written in Ash. The compiler itself only contains the types it cannot work without (ash.lang, the functional interfaces and ash.util.Iterator); everything else lives here:

Use

With apm, from your project directory:

apm init
apm add github:lennoxrose/ash-stdlib     # recorded in ash.pkg, installed into ./@ash-modules/ash-stdlib
apm install                              # restores everything listed in ash.pkg
ashvm run src/main/ash/Main.ash

Without it, point the compiler at a checkout:

ASH_PATH=/path/to/ash-stdlib/src/main/ash ashvm run Main.ash

Native methods carry @Lower("...") templates that name operations of the compiler's internal IR (hearth/front/src/jlower). Changing a template means changing the compiler too.
